Description :

The upstairs bedrooms at La Casa Nueva had access to two luxurious bathrooms, one on either side of the two-story entrance hall. Nearly identical in layout, they were designed with characteristic flair by La Casa Nueva’s interior architect, Roy Seldon Price. In this bathrrom, the clay tile floor is bounded by a heavy black border that in turn reverts to a natural clay-colored base, creating a visual foundation for the tiled wainscot with its feature strip of hand-painted tiles. Note also the matching ceramic towel hooks and soap dish located within the wainscot, and the ceramic towel bar and robe hook on the plaster wall above it. The thick adobe construction again provides for a deep windowsill, which also contains a radiator concealed by a grille.
