Description :

Curvilinear parapets and an angled, tile-roofed entrance tucked into an internal corner distinguish this Flamingo Park cottage dating from 1927. The home’s arched front door is constructed of planks of pecky cypress, a wood much in vogue in the region after Addison Mizner began featuring it in the palatial retreats he designed for East Coast millionaires. The doorway is highlighted by a delicate band of Moroccan tile, a subtle addition by the present owner. The prominent attic vents are simply tiers of ordinary clay pipe.
