Description :

An unusual angled chimney marks the location of one of five corner fireplaces in San Diego’s Hamilton house, designed in 1927 by the locally-renowned architect Richard Requa. Pylons topped by flower-filled terra cotta urns make for a welcoming entrance to the patio. Along the eaves, double- and triple-stacked courses of barrel tile lend the roof its superbly rustic texture. The wood-spindled balcony to the chimney’s left provides the master bedroom with a breezy retreat as well as a view of the Pacific Ocean.
