Description :

The interior of the Corbett house attests to the fact that the Mission Revival was mainly an exterior style. In contrast to the Spanish Colonial pretensions of the home’s facade, its tall wainscot, boxed ceiling beams, and starkly contrasting color scheme are textbook examples of Arts and Crafts design. The City of Tucson, which acquired the house in 1968, has restored and furnished it in a unified Arts and Crafts style under the direction of the Tucson Museum of Art. A Stickley dining table and set of chairs is seen in this view of the dining room; at background is a sideboard by the Superior Furniture Company dating from 1910.
