La Casa Nueva’s vast entrance hall features a discontinuous U-shaped gallery surrounding its upper level, a curious feature that must be completely traversed in order to access the upstairs rooms to the right. The pegged random plank floor, beamed ceiling, archways, corbels, and chandelier are all standard issue for Spanish Revival works, albeit greatly enlarged in scale. The staircase risers are handpainted tile; the stair and gallery railings combine both wood and wrought iron. The small, elliptical-arched door at background leads to the courtyard.
